Playoffs v Relegation

Haran Naresh looks ahead to a mouth-watering local football clash.

Two teams with very different ambitions will look to secure maximum points.

Woking FC are currently in the relegation zone in 22th place in the National League. They are two points adrift of safety.

The Cardinals have only won two of their last nine games in all competitions. Woking secured a 2-1 away victory against Torquay United, ending a run of four league games without a win. It was their first victory in the league since 29th November where they beat Bromley 2-1. Fabio Saraiva and Brian Saah were Woking’s goalscorers.

Eastleigh FC are currently 12th in the National League. ‘The Spitfires’ are unbeaten in their last four league games. The away side are eight points away from the play-off places. Eastleigh are coming into the game following a 1-1 away draw with Sutton United.
